Caribbean Golf Association Classic April 22-26, 2009 Dear Caribbean Golf Association Members, The Caribbean Golf Association and the Dominican Golf Federation would like to invite you to participate in the 14th Annual Caribbean Golf Classic from April 22rd to 26th, 2009. This annual golf event will take place at three outstanding golf courses in the Punta Cana area on the East Coast of the Dominican Republic. The tournament will be played on three different golf courses including Pepe Gancedo designed Cocotal Golf Club, the spectacular Faldo Legacy Course at Roco Ki Golf Club and the eye-popping Punta Espada Golf Club at Cap Cana. The Caribbean Classic offers you the chance to compete against other golfers with similar handicaps from our ten member Caribbean Golf Association. Flights have been created so players within the same flight have no more than a 5 handicap strokes difference from top to bottom. Handicaps are only used to qualify players for specific flights. Players within these flights will compete at scratch for individual prizes and also have the opportunity to help their country win the overall championship. The official host resort, Melia Caribe Tropical, is offering outstanding all-inclusive tournament packages and extra night rates. The Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is a short 15 minute ride from the resort. Registration for the 2009 version of the Caribbean Classic can be done through the following website www.caribbeanclassic2009.com. You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours, but your application will not be official until we have your flight information.
